Week 3, Day 4: The Call to Christlikeness, Part 2

Yesterday we focused on Philippians 2:6-8, which described several things that Jesus did (or did NOT do):

• He did NOT consider Himself to be equal with God.
• He emptied Himself... in other words, He gave up His rightful place of authority.
• He became a servant.
• He became HUMAN.
• He humbled Himself.
• He was obedient.
• He died on the cross. 

Today we're going to focus on the Jesus' ATTITUDE.

Philippians 2:5 says that we are to have the same attitude as Christ...which Paul immediately follows with yesterday's reading that described how Jesus' attitude was displayed through His actions.

Read Philippians 2:1-5 and think about how we are to model Jesus' attitude by how we treat each other.  What WAS His attitude?  What should ours be?  How do we reflect that attitude in our treatment of each other?

Make sure you journal your thoughts, and take time to pray that God's Holy Spirit will empower you to truly imitate the attitude of Christ.
